This year, more than 55.6 lakh students appeared in high school and middle school exams. Of the 30 lakh in high school and 25 lakh  in the middle exams.
The UP Board 10 class examination began on February 18 and was completed on March 3 while the UP Board class 12 exam began on February 18 and ended on March 6. However, due to the coronavirus closure, the test work was stopped from March 18. The board may continue to conduct inspections in 20 green districts from May 5, orange districts from May 12 and red zone districts from May 19. More than 54,000 middle school teachers and more than 92,000 high school teachers are expected to check the answer transcripts.
